Invisalign Clear Aligners
Invisalign uses a series of clear custom orthodontic aligners to straighten your teeth without the need for metal or wires.
Throughout your Invisalign treatment, you'll wear each set of aligners for about two weeks. Once the two weeks is up you'll change to the next set of aligners in the series.
The Invisalign's custom aligners are made from a thin clear plastic, making them a discreet option for straightening your teeth. Often, people won't even notice that you're wearing your aligners.
Your aligners are also removable! Simply take them out to eat, drink, brush and floss your teeth. With Invisalign, there are no significant changes to your diet or your at-home oral hygiene routines.
Traditional Metal Braces
Metal braces consist of small metal components that your orthodontist will frequently adjust throughout your treatment in order to shift your teeth into their new, desired positions.
Brackets, wires and elastic bands are the main parts of that make up your braces. These parts work together to apply specifically calibrated pressure to your teeth to gradually shifting them.
Traditional metal braces remain an effective orthodontic treatment option for both simple and complex misalignment and malocclusion cases.
Thanks to recent improvements to their design, metal braces are far less obtrusive and much more comfortable than they once were.
